Internship Overview:

HTY Law is seeking a motivated and hardworking legal intern to join our dynamic team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for law students, particularly those in their second and third years, to gain valuable hands-on experience in a leading law firm.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases and projects.
• Assist in drafting legal documents, including but not limited to motions, briefs, contracts, pleadings, notices, orders, and memoranda.
• Attend client meetings, court hearings, and other legal proceedings as needed.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff on various assignments.
• Contribute to the preparation of trial materials and other litigation-related tasks.
• Maintain and organize legal files and documentation.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and precedents.
• Perform administrative tasks to support the efficient functioning of our legal team.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a law school in Michigan, preferably in the second or third year (2L or 3L).
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
• Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
